Every client wants their project done as soon as possible, and a late completion can have a negative impact on your reputation.
You may be struggling to find a separate concrete subcontractor for every concrete-related task. The challenge of scheduling and pricing three companies for cutting, demolition, and pour-back services becomes complicated quickly.
With Blade Runners, you will have the expertise you need for all your concrete cutting, pouring, and cleanup tasks. Since you are only working with one company, the scheduling is simple and the timing secure. We pride ourselves on providing accurate estimates, so you can also predict your bottom line.
In 2015, David Weston purchased a small concrete business named Blade Runners from its founder, Bernie Emery. Although the business had been around since 1987, it was through Weston’s leadership that it grew into a major player in the Phoenix-area concrete industry.
Weston intentionally grew the company into a full-service concrete contractor. Weston says, “What’s unique about our company is that we can saw the concrete, remove the concrete and pour back…We are the only ones in the Valley that do this type of turnkey work in the volume that we do.”
Weston’s approach to growth involves trusting his employees and expanding the equipment fleet. The concrete technicians at Blade Runners have decades of practical experience that allow them to come up with creative solutions to challenging problems. By maintaining several units of the same equipment, the company has the resources to tackle new projects quickly. The result of Weston’s approach is a concrete contractor that can handle projects of all sizes with efficiency and precision.
Extremely nice staff, always very welcoming and willing to help! Highly recommend!
I had them cut my concrete patio into pavers they did a great job..
Small job to install concrete footers and secure a metal pavilion, but quality work by concrete specialists who I can trust to do a great job. Raul & Ramiro was right on time, completed the job with attention to detail and pride in their work, and cleaned up on their way out. I couldn’t ask for more…thank you!!!
Very professional crew. They cut through my cool decking so I could run a gas line to a built in barbecue. They sawed the concrete for a vent and access door to the BBQ island. They are in Gilbert, do residential and commercial work and apparently under new ownership for the past three years. I found them on home advisor and are highly rated there. I definitely would recommend their services if needed!
Thank you! Nestle Dynasty has been a challenge. The three sawcutters, Josh, Marcos and most recently Roman, have been incredible. No matter what weird circumstances we throw at them, they get the job done. Repeatedly. Thank you for everything. There’s more coring to be done for bollards and likely some floor cleanouts, but this has been fabulous.
Mixing and pouring concrete is only one task in the concrete process. Many projects require precise cutting and drilling of the hard substance. Carrying out these jobs safely demands a high level of skill, technical knowledge, and access to specialized equipment. Blade Runners brings everything necessary to the worksite for a successful project.
The origins of concrete stretch back into the ancient world. The Egyptians, Greeks, and Romans all used a form of concrete in construction. Today, there are a wide variety of binders, aggregates, and admixtures to produce materials for every need. Our team understands the properties of each substance and can recommend a mixture that will benefit your next project.
Many building renovations involve cutting and removing old concrete. Our team can use hydraulic tools to cut up to 30 inches deep into a concrete or masonry wall. For precise cuts and finishing, we use chain saws and hand saws.
Concrete repairs on horizontal surfaces involve cutting into the slab. Slab sawing and removal will prepare an area for a new concrete pour. Our diesel and electric-powered equipment can cut up to 30 inches deep for trenching projects.
An experienced contractor can use concrete chainsaws and ring saws to make cuts in a smaller space. Indoor projects in tight quarters require skilled technicians using powerful handheld equipment and some extra finesse.
New plumbing and wiring projects may require drilling holes into or through concrete surfaces. Our team can drill in any direction and create spaces of up to 60 inches in diameter to make room for your infrastructure needs.
A well-executed concrete pour is a complex process that involves careful preparation of both the worksite and the materials. The contractor also needs impeccable timing to produce a finished product with uniform consistency.
Our powerful saws can also help in situations when you need to remove or get below an asphalt surface. We can easily cut into asphalt driveways and parking lots to access infrastructure beneath the surface or prepare for additional work.
Large commercial buildings require extensive infrastructure. We can pour new concrete structures like ramps and footings. We can also cut and drill through existing surfaces to prepare for plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems.
Most homes require occasional concrete care. Our team can supply removal and pour back services for driveways, sidewalks, and gutters. For residential areas, we can use electric saws and jackhammers for quieter operation
Our project begins with skilled skid steer operators efficiently clearing away old concrete, setting the stage for a clean start. We then collaborate with trusted partners who specialize in disposing of worksite debris for efficient site cleanup.
Blade Runners is one of a handful of concrete companies that can supply a full-service experience. Our team can handle every task like cutting, pouring, and demolition.
Costs will always depend on the scope of the project. However, working with a full-service contractor is generally less expensive than working with three separate sub-contractors. Once we know the details of your project, we can provide a firm bid.
We have a policy of equipment redundancy. By maintaining several pieces of the same equipment, we have the resources on hand to keep projects running smoothly.
Our team arrives with standard safety equipment like helmets, goggles, and gloves. Every work team has employees with OSHA 10 and 30 safety certifications.
