After more than thirty years performing various management functions in the construction industry as a Small Business Development Consultant, Craft Trainer, Small Contractor/Owner and EHS Manager for several large national GC’s, Richard V. Bowles moved into semi-retirement in the 1st quarter of 2024. Retirement did not last long as he accepted an opportunity to join the Blade Runners concrete team as their Safety Manager before the end of March 2024.

The decision to join Blade Runners was made easy based upon positive work experiences with President David Weston and VP Scott Pauly a few years earlier when Richard managed project safety on a project where Blade Runners performed all concrete scopes of work successfully. It was and continues to be clear now that Blade Runners is a growing trade contractor with a desire to develop and expand the kind of safety culture necessary to be successful in this industry. Richard could not pass on the opportunity to be part of what Blade Runners’ future will become and looks forward to being part of the team that will make it happen!
